The Camu Camu fruit has been researched by scientists for decades. They are still discovering new things about the chemical ingredients and understanding how they benefit human health, both individually and in synergy. So far, we know that Camu Camu is the world’s best source of plant-derived vitamin C. The fruit from South America, Peru, is famous for that.
Latest research on Camu Camu: Camu Camu is used as part of anti-aging to protect the nervous system, improve mental performance, relieve inflammatory processes, boost the immune system, improve vision and fight viruses. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of the fruit have proven to be beneficial in the prevention of arteriosclerosis, far more effective than vitamin C tablets with the same high content of vitamin C.
Product / ingredients: Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia). Natural vitamin C with maximum bioavailability is not produced synthetically like ascorbic acid and therefore contains additional valuable nutrients such as rutin, bioflavanoids and beta-carotene. In addition, it is rich in organic iron, phosphorus, calcium, vitamins B1, B2 and B3, minerals and amino acids. Camu Camu contains the dried, pure fruit powder extract and is free of synthetic additives.
Our Camu Camu powder contains at least 12% vitamin C and other vitamins and a wide range of phytochemicals. These flavonoids are among the most important mediators, which ensure that the body optimally absorbs vitamin C in order to develop its antioxidant (cell protecting) effect.
In contrast to the Acerol cherries, the Camu Camu berries can be processed without any carrier to a 100% pure fruit powder in raw food quality.
Scientific knowledge: Camu Camu contains 30 to 50 times as much vitamin C as oranges and other citrus fruits, ten times as much iron, three times as much niacin, twice as much riboflavin and 50 percent more phosphorus. It is also rich in beta carotene, potassium, calcium, bioflavonoids, antioxidants and amino acids. No other fruit in the world has such a high concentration of phytochemicals. It has antioxidant, astringent, soothing properties and is nutritious.
